Productronica, the international trade fair showcasing innovative products for electronic production, opened in the Bavarian metropolis of Munich for its 19th event. More than 38,000 visitors attended the trade fair, which was held from 15-18 November 2011. Isola and our distributor, CCI Eurolam, together presented innovative new materials for the production of advanced printed circuit boards. This year we focused on the following product developments:
• Enhancement of our product portfolio >= 170 Tg
• High Speed Digital
• RF/Microwave
• Semi-Flex base material (both in sheets/panels and rolls)
• Smart Card Laminates
• Fiber Spread Technology
Despite the difficult market environment, our customers remain optimistic about the future. From our discussions, we believe that the current difficulties can be traced to inventory adjustments across the whole value-added supply chain. Accordingly our perspective for the New Year remains optimistic.
