Productronica 2011 - Isola goes for Innovation

Isola is working on two new products for high speed digital and RF/Microwave markets which will be launched shortly.

These new products combined with existing product portfolio consisting of IS415, FR-408HR, IS620i and IS680 will offer an enhanced and diversified product range for the customers. The products are designed to meet the Signal integrity and thermal reliability requirements including lead free assembly compatibility.

Isola is well established in the thermally reliable epoxy laminates with leading products such as IS400, IS410, IS420, PCL370HR. A new product 185 HR has been recently launched to augment the offering. This product offers very low Z- axis expansion and a high Tg making it suitable for demanding thermal cycling requirements.

For semi flexible applications Isola is able to provide nearly every common material in a flexible version exclusively clad with HD copper foil.

Due to the  growing LED market , thermal management solutions such as heat sink substrates are in great demand. In addition to IS450 Isola, offers a range of metal clad  substrates. This technology involves bonding copper foil, special prepregs and aluminum sheets to form a “base material”.

Isola fabrics has recently developed and implemented an innovative process to treat glass fabric. This process ensures ideal wetting and distribution of the glass fabrics which is beneficial for the CAF resistance. Moreover, the homogenous weave dielectrics are advantageous for High speed and high frequency boards as they help alleviate the fiber weave effect.

It would give us great pleasure to discuss further details with you in Munich. Please come and see us in hall B1 booth 155.
