DURAVER®-E-Cu Quality 156 is a base material with halogen-free flame retardants.
The resin matrices for this grade comprises phosphorous modified epoxy resins or blends with E-glass fabric reinforcement. UL94 V-0 class flammability is achieved without the addition of antimony based synergists.
Because of its excellent stability this product is particularly suited for lead-free interconnection technology. The low CTE in z-axis gives this material high overall thermal performance where required.
The specific resin formulations result in a very high resistance against copper migration in the printed circuit board (CAF-enhanced) which continues to become more important with finer and finer structures.
The same type of E-glass fabrics are used as for our standard FR-4 quality DURAVER®-E-Cu.
The used copper foils meet the demands of IPC-4562, grade 1 for thicknesses ≥ 105 µ and grade 3 for thicknesses < 105 µ (HTE-quality). Laminates are only available with double sided copper cladding.
